Dear Residents and Families,

We had a staff member test positive for COVID-19 this week. We completed contact tracing and will be testing those who had high risk exposures. Please be aware that Covid-19 positivity rates are continuing to increase throughout St. Louis County. During any visit, continued diligence of our infection prevention and control practices is critical. This includes following our screening protocols, face mask compliance, alcohol hand rub, and social distancing. All visits must remain in the resident room and visitors should not be meeting with their loved ones in communal areas. There is a visitor instruction sheet at the front entrance with more details. The most effective tool to protect against Covid-19 is to adhere to the above guidelines as well as be fully vaccinated and receive booster vaccines. If you are interested in becoming vaccinated, you can contact their local health prover or pharmacy for more information. We are following recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Please follow our Facebook page (@Heritage Manor Health Center) or our website (www.sfhs.org) for all COVID updates and information on what is happening inside our care center. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Stacy Bernard, Associate Administrator, at 218-274-7711, if you have any questions or concerns.
